Charges for duplicate certificates:
- BASP certificate £5
- £7.50 for EFAW
- £15 for FAW
Can I go on a reserve list?
Yes you can, we often get last minute cancellations so worth asking. Please email us detailing your mobile contact number and email address and we will add you to the reserve list.
Can I ask for an Invoice for my employer to pay instead of paying online?
Yes please email us with your name, contact details and the Business to Invoice plus date and venue for the course you wish to attend.
How old do I have to be to attend a BASP course?
Normally 18yrs old, or with written permission from a parent if you are 16 or 17 yrs old.
How long will it take to receive my certificate?
We normally post this to you within 2 weeks of attending the course, however at certain times of the year this can be longer. If you need it urgently please email the office and we can email a copy to you. If you are waiting for a First Aid at Work certificate this may take longer as it is coming directly from the SQA.
Can I get a refund if my circumstances change?
If you require a full refund there will be a £10 admin fee applied. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the event are liable for the full amount, however please contact us so we can discuss this.
Does the BASP Outdoor Emergency First Aid 2 Day Course meet the requirements for BASI?
'YES'. If you require an SQA Emergency First Aid at Work certificate in addition to your BASP certificate please contact the office to pay the £10 supplement. Check out the new guidelines - https://www.basi.org.uk/content/first-aid-course.aspx
