The Snow CentreThe Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire, a BASI Centre of Excellence, have a close relationship with BASP and the majority of the instructors have completed the BASP two day Emergency First Aid Course required to achieve BASI qualifications. This means that slope staff are fully equipped to deal with any incidents should they occur out on the slope, and this enables The Snow Centre to provide an excellent level of care and safety. BASP run two day Emergency Courses at the 160 metre indoor slope. Looking to build on the close relationship with The Snow Centre, BASP recently ran the first full Ski Patrol Course which was adapted to the indoor environment, a course that is unique to The Snow Centre.
