Cairngorm digging out!
Today Cairngorm ski patrol are diggin out the lifts and huts because there is so much snow in the Cairngorms!
Glenshee have a similar situation, but the road north to Braemar is closed so the police will not allow cars to go up the hill to Glenshee, despite the road being open!
It either rains or pours with snow and we have so much we can't handle it all!!!
This picture taken by Bob Kinnaird from Cairngorm Mountain is of the RAF helicopter which had to be abandoned this week due to blizzard conditions during a rescue attempt. It will remain there until the current heavy snow fall abates!
