Rescueing the helicopter
There is a lot of activity at Glenmore Lodge yesterday and today with all three services preparing to ship gear in to the helicopeter stranded in the Cairngorms. The plan is for the Navy to erect a giant tent over the aircraft and then to install massive heaters to de-ice [no chemicals - national park] and warm all the engine and hydraulic oils and then to simply fly it out. Watch this space.......!
The helicopter was alst seen flying out, but not before it was also seen on Ebay for £5000!!!
