BASP are expanding our Training Team.
We are looking for First Aid Trainers to help us deliver our premier outdoor first aid courses and ski patrol courses across the UK.
Who are we looking for?
When you become a BASP Trainer, you become part of the BASP family. Experience is considered just as highly as qualifications are however we do have some benchmarks which we would like our Trainers to have.
We are looking for a minimum of 3 years practical first aid experience, preferably in the outdoors. You also need to have a passion for educating people about first aid and have, or be working towards a teaching qualification. We also require a current first aid certificate, a minimum of First Aid at work.

The Trainer Package
There are many perks to being a BASP Trainer.
The job includes flexible working, holiday pay, nationwide travel, full kit compliment, trainer uniform and an employment contract with a fixed daily rate plus expenses. You also have an admin team to support you in your role who handle all the arrangements.

How to apply.
There will be 3 stages to the recruitment process.
Firstly, a written application, after that you will be invited to a Trainer Selection and an Interview. Successful applicants will then enter the BASP Trainee Trainer programme which comprises of paid shadowing and partial delivery of 8 courses (or less). After completion of this training, Trainee Trainers will then be promoted to the BASP Training Team.
