Stephen Hull, BASP Trainer

Steve Hull has been a trainer with BASP for over 20 years. Blessed with a low center of gravity and a generous fatty layer he was suited to the Scottish mountains and although it would astonish his PE teachers, he managed to learn to ski and in 1982 joined the ski patrol at Glenshee - Scotland's premier ski resort, he has also spent time working for the ski patrol in Thredbo - Australia.
In 1992 he submitted to a long standing desire to talk to old ladies about soup and joined the Scottish Ambulance Service. Quickly gaining his tea making, snoozing in the morning and "can you no walk" certificates he is now working with the out of hours sector. Attaining his 25 meter breast stroke at age of 7, his interest in the water is still current, and as a valued member of Stonehaven's independant lifeboat crew.
Steve has developed a keen interest in traditional music, and any candidates with FMA (folk music allergy) should be aware that spontaneous fiddly diddly - or references to this , could break out at any time. Epipens are advised.
