BASP FIRST AID AND SAFETY COURSES

PRICE LIST - Effective from 1 April 2008 - 30th March 2009
The cost of the course is worked out by adding the Course fee (A) plus the Travelling expenses, times each Trainer (B) plus the Accommodation expenses (C) (if this is not provided in full by the client). Course travelling costs are calculated from Aviemore, unless specified otherwise by BASP.


A - Course price per Trainer (Ratio of Trainer to students 1:10 maximum)



  • 1/2 day AED public access defibrilator - £425

  • 1 day Emergency First Aid/AED  - £475

  • 2 day Emergency First Aid  - £625

  • 4 day Standard First Aid  - £975

  • 4 day HSE at Work  - £1165

  • 2 day HSE refresher  - £745

  • 2 day Advanced First Aid   - £635

  • 5 day Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) £375 per person
    *residential in Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore non res £300

  • 5 day Ski Patrol Training £175 per person
    *non-residential in Fort William


B - Trainer travelling time and expenses



  • 53p. per mile in UK (+ additional costs for examiners for HSE courses)

  • £390 or more for travel to Europe



C - Accommodation Costs (L,D,B&B)

£65 per day per Trainer, except in the London area  or Europe £75 per day. Or the client provides full board for the duration of the course.


Terms and Conditions

Provisional Bookings

Provisional bookings can only be held for 1 month

Confirmed Bookings

  • To confirm your booking please forward a non-returnable deposit of £100 per course, per trainer; plus purchase order if used by your company.
  • An Invoice for the balance will be sent 8 weeks before the course, payable in full 4 weeks before the course commences. If full payment is not received by this time the course will be cancelled. (Unless an exception has been arrange at the time of booking with BASP)

Cancellations
On receipt of confirmation of your booking, you will be liable for the following charges if the booking is subsequently cancelled. Cancellations received in writing or fax:

  • More than 8 weeks in advance - 25% of fees due
  • Between 4-8 weeks in advance - 50% of fees due
  • Less than 4 weeks in advance - Full payment

We advice taking out cancellation Insurance

Course times
Most of our courses start at 9am and finish by 5pm. This can be changed by prior arrangement. Time out of courses due to any circumstance will only be acceptable if it is up to a maximum of 1 hr for 2 day courses and 2 hrs for 4 day courses, without forfeit of certification for attendance on the course. Please make prior arrangements with the office.

Certificates
Certificates are normally issued within 2 weeks of the course completion. Certificates will not be issued unless full payment is received by BASP.
