Public Course Terms & Conditions:
General
Candidates need to be 18 years or older to attend our courses. (However, if you are 16/17 years of age, you can attend but parental permission is required. Your parent/guardian must contact the office prior to booking – they will need to give permission and a contact mobile number). Email – firstaid@basp.org.uk
All candidates must provide an email address & mobile contact number at the time of booking.
Certificates will be emailed to successful candidates following the course (hard copies are no longer posted).
Cancellation
Cancellations received less than 14 days before the event are liable for the full amount, however please contact us so we can discuss this.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the course, we will aim to give 7 days’ notice. We will liaise with you to transfer your booking or provide you with a refund if appropriate.
Red Weather Warnings – Winter
We are experiencing some unusual winter weather patterns from time to time & want to keep both our candidates & staff safe.
Where a venue is in a Red Weather Warning area, the course will be completely cancelled at lunchtime the day before it starts. We will phone the mobile number provided at the time of booking and leave a message if there is no answer. Please ensure we have your appropriate mobile number. Where BASP cancels a course, you will be entitled to either a full refund or transfer to an available place on an alternative course.
