Course Overview
Basic Life support, ski area safety, patrol management, customer care, casualty management, casualty report forms and logbooks. The candidates will look in detail as the equipment used & available. Scenarios are incorporated into the course delivery.
This course can be based at any of the indoor snow slopes in UK. The day starts at 9am & normally finishes at 5pm. If you would like to arrange a course for staff, please contact us.
Pre-Requisites
You must hold a current 2 Day Outdoor Emergency First Aid or a 3 Day First Aid at Work certificate. You must be able to ski/snowboard on indoor snow slopes. Please apply for BASP Membership & a Log Book before booking onto this course so that you can have the pre-requisites in place before being accepted on the course.

Those wishing to work as a patroller on one of the UK’s indoor snow slopes.
Certificate valid
On successful completion of the course, Slope Patroller Trainee status us gained, a certificate detailing the elements covered during the course & a signed Lod Book of the relevant competencies. The candidate is then ready to gain experience as a Trainee.
